RECRUITMENT ;
Online applications are invited from Indian citizens for engagement of 55th Batch (for Non-ITI & ITI candidates) of Trade Apprentices under the 'Apprentices Act 1961’ in Ordnance & Ordnance Equipment Factories located in different States across India.
The number of vacancies is approx. 7038 including 3736 ITI and 3302 Non-ITI, the highest ever as part of OFB’s Skill India Mission. Important

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION (As per Apprentices Act 1961)
a. For Non-ITI Category Passed “Madhyamik” (Class: 10th standard or equivalent) with minimum 40% marks in aggregate with 40% marks in each of mathematics & Science.
b. For ITI Category Should have passed relevant ITI/trade test from any institute recognized by NCVT (SCVT or any other authority specified through Gazette Notification of Ministry of Labour & Employment / Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, with duration as per the Apprentice Act, 1961) and should possess the qualification as on the closing date of application
AGE LIMIT: Between 14 to 22 years as on last date of application, Relaxation in age limit is as per the norms.

During the 1st year of training 70% of minimum wages of Semi-Skilled workers notified by the respective state or Union Territory
During the 2nd year of training 80% of minimum wages of Semi-Skilled workers notified by the respective state or Union Territory
During the 3rd year of training 90% of minimum wages of Semi-Skilled workers notified by the respective state or Union Territory
Note: • Candidates who have already applied through the Government Of India portal, www.apprenticeship.gov.in are necessarily required to re-apply to appear in written examination for this purpose and issue of Admit Card through our website: www.ofb.gov.in
