UPSC JOBS, WRITTEN RESULT, COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION (II), 2016

On the basis of the results of the COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION (II), 2016 held by the Union Public Service Commission on 23rd October, 2016, 8563 candidates with the following Roll Numbers have qualified for being interviewed by the Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence, for admission to 

(i) Indian Military Academy, Dehradun 143rd Course commencing in July, 2017
 (ii) Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, Course commencing in July, 2017 
(iii) Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course (202/16F/PC) commencing in July, 2017
 (iv) Officers Training Academy, Chennai 106th SSC Course (for Men) commencing in October, 2017 and 
(v) Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 20th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in October, 2017.

UPSC, EXAM ON 23rd OCTOBER, DOWN LOAD ADMIT CARD, COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION (II), 2016.

The Union Public Service Commission will be conducting the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2016 at different venues located at 41 Centres throughout the country on 23.10.2016 (Sunday).

 The e‐Admit Cards for the candidates have been uploaded on the Commission’s Web‐site http://www.upsc.gov.in which may be downloaded. Letters of rejection to the candidates stating reason(s) for rejection have already been sent through e‐mail provided by the candidates. If any applicant is not able to download his e‐Admit Card, he may contact UPSC Facilitation Counter on Telephone Nos. 011‐23385271, 011‐23381125 and 011‐23098543 between (10.00 AM to 5.00 PM) on working day during working hours. 

 The candidate may also send Fax message on Fax No. 011‐23387310. The candidates may note that no paper admit card will be issued.     In case the photograph is not printed or available on the e‐Admit Card, candidates are advised to carry three (03) photographs (one identical photograph for each session) along with proof of identity such as identity Card etc. and printout of e‐Admit Card at the venue of the Examination to secure admission in the Examination.

Do not use mobile or other gadgets for downloading e-ADMIT CARD.Preferably use Windows OS on Desktop Machine. 4. If you are having problem in downloading e-Admit Card using suggested browsers then clear the cache and cookies of browser using browser setting. In case if you are still unable to download the e-Admit Card then please try to download the admitcard using other computer machine.

The following are the lists, in order of merit, in respect of 258 (*212 + ^46) candidates who have finally qualified on the basis of the results of the Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2015 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission and Interviews held by the Services Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence for admission to the (i) *Officers Training Academy, Chennai, for 104th Short Service Commission Course (for Men) and (ii) ^Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 18th Short Service Commission Women (Non-Technical) Course, commencing in October, 2016.
