Based on the results of the written examination held by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION in May, 2016 followed by interviews for Personality Test in August, 2016,

The following are the lists, in order of merit, of the candidates who have been recommended for appointment to the Group ‘A’ posts of Geologists, Geophysicist and Chemists in the Geological Survey of India ; and Jr. Hydrogeologists (Scientist B), Group ‘A’ in the Central Ground Water Board. 2. The following candidates (Merit Order wise) are provisionally selected and recommended for appointment to the post (Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200-20200+ GP Rs. 2000/1900) mentioned below, 

based on their performance in the Computer Based Test held on 19,20,21,24th Nov 2015 and 27 & 28th Dec 2015, 

Typing skill Test held on 16th March 2016 and counselling/verification of their certificates held on 16 & 30 th March 2016, subject to all other criteria including the prescribed medical standards.
