The Indian Coast Guard, offers a challenging  career to young and dynamic Indian male  candidates for various branches as an  Assistant Commandant(Group ‘A’ Gazetted  Officers) and invites ‘online’ application . 

1.General

30 Jun 1997(Both dates inclusive).

2.General  Duty (Pilot), MALE, 

BIRTHRATE-01 Jul 1993 to 30 Jun 

1999 (Both dates inclusive).

3.Pilot(CPL)  Male , BIRTH DATE-01 Jul 1993 to

30 Jun 1999 (Both dates inclusive).

On joining Coast Guard you will be placed in Basic Pay 56,100 (Pay Level-10) as per 7th Pay Commission. 

Schedule for Preliminary Selection Examination.  The Preliminary Selection will be conducted 

from mid Jul 2017 at following centers or any other  center promulgated by Coast Guard:-

(a) Coast Guard Regional Headquarters (West),

(b) Coast Guard Store Depot, CG Complex

Short Listing of Applications. Short listing  criteria will be based on higher percentage of marks 

in the qualifying examination and the qualifying cut off for a particular branch or centro may 

be increased more than 60% if more applications with  higher % are received.The list of candidates selected on the basis of merit list will be uploaded in  Coast Guard recruitment website www.joinindiancoastguard.gov.in during  first week Dec 2017
