An Overview, Preparing Strategies for PROBATIONARY ENGINEERING, Bel jobs

In general their exam writing is a test based objective that consists of question related to your grade flow and basic paper aptitude.Question is not so difficult if you have covered gate syllabus very well. They ask basic fitness questions that can be prepared from any basic book like R.S Agarwal.

Once you are clearing the written test, you will be called for the interview. If you are a fresher, your interview will revolve around your area of interest.

Choose at least 3-4 subjects, which you like best and read them through.

For example, For the CSE grad they may ask for core encoding themes like data structure, tree and algorithm related to this compiler design.

In addition, they may also ask questions related to projects from the last year.

Mechanical engineers would mainly have to do product design and strain-strain analysis, as this is a very fundamental part of the manufacturing process.

Technical Issues-120
Fitness -30
Total 150 questions have to be answered in just 150 minutes.
Hoevedr The Bel curriculum is the same as the gate program, but you can only expect theoretical questions for the bel exam. If you are a CE engg, then prepare digital electronic, analog electronic, communication and VLSI well.In BEL probation engineer exam (talking about ECE), the questions are easy and the level of complexity is lower. Usually the basic questions are there.

But the paper covers about 17-18 subjects in detail as-
Mathematics (I, II and III),
Network analysis,
Measuring instruments,
Fundamental of electronic devices,
Digital Electronics,
Antenna and propagation of waves,
Microelectronic circuits,
Integrated circuits,
Microprocessor,
Theory of the electromagnetic field,
Communication (Digital and analog),
Introduction to electronic drives,
Control system,
Signal system
Digital Signal Processing

Fitness is easier, no need to put any extra effort. So Go through all the GATE questions of the last 5 years.In order to do so the book GATE with solutions and R. K. Jain can be very useful.

The roles and responsibilities of PEs are similar to all the engineers employed in their respective SBUs.

When the interview time comes they collect the following details of the candidates to make them familiar with the profile of candidates;

Personal details

Education,

Experience,

Projects,

Stage and industrial exhibition

Achiements

Hobbies

Details about the employees of the same company

And the same is usually circulated between the members of the interview panel so that they know about the candidate in before hand.

You may have the following question to ask in the ECE branch;

TV waves work in what frequency band?
What do you know about bluetooth?
About load and line regulation
SMPS and its applications
Conversion from one flipflop to another (D, T, JK, SR)
Some questions about numerical systems (ASCII, weighted code, excess code 3)
A question about probability
The most important thing is your final project of the year

And If fortunately you are in then be ready for the following faces;

Training period: 30 days

All trainees are trained together in basic operation and company policies. You will be assessed for the ability and temperament to perform the assigned roles. At the end of the 4 weeks of training, you will receive your assignment and be assigned to report to SBU.

Trial period: 6 months

The first 6 months will be your internship period, where you will be monitored under your official reports and your assigned tasks. Upon successful completion of this period, you will receive the designation of Adjunct Engineer (DE).
