Assam Rifles special recruitment rally for COMPASSIONATE GROUND APPOINTMENT will be held at Shillong, (Meghalaya), NRS- Guwahati from 26 May 2018 onwards for enrolment of 213 (male/female candidates) in the following trades:
a Trade - Soldier General Duty, Initial Rank- Rifleman, Educational Qualification
101h class pass from a recognized Board, Age limit - (a) Dependents 18 - 38 yrs
(b) Widow- 18 - 40 yrs
b Trade- Clerk , Initial Rank Havildar, Educational Qualification- Intermediate or
Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from recognized Board/
University or equivalent. (b) Skill Test Norms on Compyter. English typing with
minimum speed of 35 words per minute on computer. Hindi typing with minimum
speed of 30 words per minute on computer (35 w.p.m in English and 30 w.p.m in
Hindi corresponding to 10500 KDPH in English/9000 KDPH in Hindi with average
of 5 key depressions for each work on computer .18-40 yrs
c Trade -Personal Assistant, Initial Rank-Warrant Officer, Educational Qualification(
a) Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from
recognized Board/University or equivalent. (b) Skill Test Norms on Compyter:-
(i) Dictation. 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute. (ii) Transcription Time. 50
minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer. Age Limit- 18-40 yrs
d Trade - Radio Mechanic, Initial Rank - Warrant Officer, Educational
Qualification-10+2 pass or equivalent from a recognised Board or University
with three years diploma in Radio and Television Technology or Electronics or
Telecommunications or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or
Domestic appliances from a recognized University or Institute, Age Limit - 18-38 yrs
e Trade - Armourer, Initial Rank - Rifleman, Educational Qualification - 101h class
pass from a recognised Board, Age Limit - 18-38 yrs.
f Trade - Electrician, Initial Rank - Rifleman, Educational Qualification - 101h pass
and possess Industrial Training Institute certificate in grade, Age Limt -1 8-38 yrs
