The Union Cabinet has decided to pay a productivity linked bonus (PLB) equal to 78 days' wages for 12.30 lakh non-gazetted railway employees who are likely to benefit from this decision.
This payment will be done before the Dusrah / Pooja holiday, festive season.
The payment of PLB will be in the form of incentives and as a result, a large number of railway employees involved in the execution and operation of railway . The railway Employee will be motivated to improve their productivity and ensure safety, speed and service.
