OBC (Non-creamy layer) : Not exceeding 31 years
SC/ST : Not exceeding 33 years.
Valid GATE score card (GATE 2015/2016/2017). (Only for Subject/Disciplines in Part I ).
FEES & MODE OF PAYMENT OBC candidates are required to pay a non-refundable non-transferable application fees of Rs.100/- (Rs. One Hundred only) payable online only. However there is no application fees for SC/ST /PWD and women candidates.
a) For Subjects/ Disciplines in Part I The final selection of the candidates will be purely on the basis of discipline wise category wise merit of aggregate of, 80% weightage to GATE score and 20% weightage to marks in personal interview. For consideration for selection, a candidate has to secure minimum qualifying marks of 60% for OBC/SC/ST candidates in Personal Interview.
(b) For Subjects/ Disciplines in Part II The final selection of the candidates will be purely on the basis of merit of marks in personal interview. For consideration for selection, a candidate has to secure minimum qualifying marks of 60% for SC candidates in Personal Interview.
