INDIAN NAVY INVITES APPLICATIONS FROM UNMARRIED MALE CANDIDATES FOR ENROLMENT AS STEWARDS, CHEFS AND HYGIENISTS FOR MR/NMR- OCT 2017 (02/2017) BATCH COURSE COMMENCING OCTOBER 2017
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS ;
1 Online applications are invited from Unmarried Male Indian Citizens and subjects of Nepal and Bhutan.
2. Educational Qualifications. Qualified in Matric (10th) class for MR and VIth class for NMR entry. 3. Age. Age 17 to 21 years as on 01 October 2017 (born between 01 Oct 1996 and 30 Sep 2000 (both dates inclusive)
PAY AND PERQUISITES
4. Pay & Allowances. During the initial training period, a stipend of Rs. 5700 pm will be admissible. On completion of initial training, they will be placed in the Pay Band Rs 5200-20200. In addition, they will be paid Grade Pay @ Rs 2000/- plus MSP @ Rs 2000/- plus DA (being revised as per 7th CPC).
5. Promotion. Promotion prospects exist up to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer-I (equivalent to Subedar Major) with pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800 plus Grade Pay @Rs. 4800/- Plus MSP @Rs. 2000/- plus DA. Opportunities for promotion to commissioned officer also exist for those who perform well and qualify the prescribed examinations (being revised as per 7th CPC).
SELECTION CRITERIA
7. Selection of recruits is based on the order of merit on their performance in Written Test, qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in Medical Examinations.

Before clicking the ‘Submit’ button make sure all the details are correct and all required documents are uploaded after scanning. (f) Print two copies of the online application form.
